The Early Years
As with most Geordies Peter loved the game of football. He soon joined a boys club and had a stint at Cramlington Juniors. Peter was finally spotted and given the opportunity to join Newcastle United.

On The Move
Peter Ramage, the Ashington-born defender made 69 appearances for his hometown club, and he epitomised the true Geordie spirit, whenever he pulled on the famous black and white striped shirt. Peter made his debut for Newcastle United against Olympiacos.
After 13 years at Newcastle United it was time to move on because of the lack of first team opportunities. Ian Dowie an admirer of Ramage signed Peter on a 3 year contract for Queens Park Rangers. At 24 years old it was imperative that Peter played regular first team football and this could be realised with the championship side.

The Future?
Now playing regular football it would not be surprising to see Peter putting in the type of performances he showed for Newcastle United and at some stage back in the premiership either with Queens Park Rangers or some other premiership side.
