The Bugattis tavelled down the A19 this weekend to their first Corus Cup held at Teeside AFC in Redcar.
In what was a well organised tournament the team played several hard games and lost their first game in a year whilst still asleep.
TIBS was the only defeat in the tournament with the heats going well and the Bugattis entered the quarter finals in second place from their group.
The quarter final and semi final ended in stalemate with dreaded penalties being played out at the end.
The girls demonstrated a calm head in scoring and a superb effort from goalkeeper Becka took the team into the final.
The FinalIt was a case of de ja vous for the Bugattis in the final as they faced Middlesborough, the team who they drew against in the Blackpool Tournament semi final and were subsequently knocked out by in penalties.
The final could not have started any better with the only goal of the game being scored by Charlene within the first minute. This left the girls to defend their lead and win the final 1-0.
The girls could not have been any happier at winning against Borough and celebrated with coaches Clive and John, struggling to lift the huge trophy!
Well done girls!
