Under 11 Reds Win League in Play Off

In a tense match played in very windy conditions Cramlington Juniors won the NABC Under 11 league title with a 1-0 win over Red House Farm. Played on a nuteral pitch at Amberley Playing Fields in Killingworth the Reds kept their composure trying to play football at every opportunity. A goal early in the first half from Mathew Nelson gave the Reds a perfect start. The game ebbed and flowed but the Reds resolute at the back kept a clean sheet. Red House Farm nearly scored late in the game when the striker lobbed the advancing Mathew Sneddon only for Lewis Robson to race after the ball and clear it off the line. This was the perfect end of the season for manager Jimmy Wilson and coach Keith Wilson as their last match in charge and their last match at Cramlington Juniors.
The parents and players would like to thank Jimmy and Keith for all their efforts this season and best wishes for the future.
