The u10s Reds visited Blyth Spartans on 5th November 2011 as mascots for Blyths match  against Colwyn Bay from Wales. Mascots were Callum, Adam, Mitch, Owen, Ryan, Ethan, Charlie, Harry N, Kai and Harry M.

The boys were shown around the ground, with a tour of the changing rooms and physio room and then met the players.  We then had a short training session on the pitch whilst having a kick around with the Blyth players whilst they were warming up.  The boys then came out at the start of the game proudly wearing their CJFC strips with the Blyth players  and shook hands with the match officials and players from Colwyn Bay. The lads were then introduced to the crowd before taking their seats to watch the game, which turned out to be a fiery affair resulting in the final score being 1 - 1.

The boys seemed to have a great day and enjoyed the visit seeing the step up from grassroots football to a semi-professional level.  A big thank you to Blyth Spartans for their hospitatility.
