Two year Scholarship at Sunderland AFC

Cramlington Juniors are glad to announce that under 16s player Connor Oliver has signed for Sunderland Association Football Club on a two year scholarship.

Connor has had trials at Leicester, St Mirren, Bolton, Hull, and Carlisle. However after a trial and subsequent offer from Sunderland, Connor didn’t hesitate to sign and was very impressed with the current set up at this level.

Connor is a right back and has been with our club for two years after leaving Gretna FC. He has a fantastic attitude and is a very good defender, great when in possession and has been a tremendous captain on and off the field. Connor is a great role model for any younger boys coming through our club to look up too.

We wish him the very best as he has great chance of staying in the game for a long time as he has the technical ability and attitude to go a long with it.
