Mini Soccer Penalty Shoot Out & BBQ
The annual CJFC Mini Soccer Penalty Shootout and BBQ took place on Saturday and was a great success with around 200 players, parents, friends and families from U7, U9 & U10 sections witnessing some great penalties, great saves and only the odd burnt sausage!
The penalty kings, on the day, were Lucas, Declan and Adam with a special mention also going to our guest goalkeepers Finn and Thomas.
The day also saw a spirt draw being held with the £109 raised, being donated to The Parachute Regiment Charity, a cause supported by our U15's manager, Michael Moore. Michael is currently in training to run the Liverpool Marathon, in memory of Lance Corporal Kyle Marshall, who was tragically killed in action in Afghanistan.
The mini soccer managers would like to thank all those who attended for their support and hope that they had an enjoyable day.
